Inside the Church

The present church is built of a warm yellow brick with afromosa wood furniture. It can seat a congregation of 180 with seats to one side for a small music group. The focal point is a large plain wooden cross on the sanctuary wall above the communion table. Either side of the sanctuary there are two small stained glass windows which are illuminated at night. In front of the blue carpeted sanctuary there is an open area with the font and space for drama, dance and other activities which form part of our varied styles of worship. Above the original stepped entrance is a mosaic of the good Samaritan. Alternative, and equally well used, access is by a ramped corridor entering at the side. The Pulpit, Lecturn and Communion Rail are all removable from the raised platform when the occasion demands

A Church for All We have Braille and large print Hymns & Psalms, and large print Mission Praise and Methodist Service Books. Within the church there is a sound reinforcement system with induction loop for the hard of hearing.
